This 6-Year-Old Boy Lost Both His Parents But What He’s Doing Now Will Inspire You

When Jaden Hayes was just 4 years old, his father passed away. On top of that, his mother just recently died in her sleep this July.

But despite the tremendous loss he has experienced, Jaden decided that he wasn’t going to let those tragedies define him.

Now living with his aunt, Barbara DiCola, he explained to his aunt “I’m so tired of everybody with frowny faces. We need to make people smile”.

Jaden’s aunt told him to think about it overnight and come to her with an idea the next morning.

The next morning, he decided that he wanted to pass out goodie bags filled with candy and toys to strangers.

Jaden his aunt then went to the downtown area of Savannah, and handed out the bags to anyone who wasn’t smiling.

Jaden and his aunt passed out over 275 bags in two days making each person they met smile.

When the strangers they asked what the bags were for, Hayes would reply, “You weren’t smiling. I want you to smile.”

Support for Jaden has taken off as his story spread. He is receiving lots of gifts from admirers of his generosity.

These gifts couldn’t have gone to a nicer kid!
