Zuma: I Will Step Down If All My Debts Can Be Erased And My Criminal Cases Dismissed.

imageJohannesburg: ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe recently said no one had brought up asking President Zuma to step down during the NEC meeting which was held recently.

On the other hand, according to two NEC members, Zuma had allegedly told those at the meeting that he was aware that there were members in the party’s top structure who wanted him out and offered to step down if his debts can be erased and criminal charges dismissed.

The recent local government elections saw the ANC losing outright control of four metros, including all three in Gauteng, and most of the NEC secretly blame Msholozi for the loss.

The two NEC members who cannot be named, said they will make the proposal to the rest of the committee to have Zuma’s debts wiped off and his crminal cases dismissed.

It is unclear at the moment if a meeting has already been arranged to discuss the matter.

Developing story.
