Public Protector Thuli Madonsela has given President Jacob Zuma the middle finger once again. This comes after the Presidency released a statement asking Madonsela not to conclude the investigation or release a report until he has had the opportunity to question the witnesses who have supplied her with evidence.
Madonsela told Zuma he had his chance and she knows about his delay tactics. Jacob Zuma was afforded a proper opportunity to tender his evidence since 22 March 2016. Zuma has however changed his mind two about answering the questions, saying it is in the interest of public trust that the matter be concluded expeditiously.
Madonsela had a meeting meeting with Zuma last week and discussed matters relating to his case and his connection with the Guptas, and it seems they did not see eye to eye, and that is the reason why Zuma wants more time and evidence.
However, Madonsela made it clear to Zuma that he needs to go somewhere very far from heaven and earth to find the evidence he wants.
‘I already gave Zuma all evidence implicating him’, said Madonsela.
